Lectures & Discussions
The best learning environment is one of pro-active interaction between teachers and students. Basic knowledge and theories will be presented to you during the lectures, but substantial time will be allotted to student participation and group discussions. You will be encouraged to discuss your own opinions and points of view.
Textbooks
Prescribed textbooks provide the basic core information. Students will, however be encouraged to develop an attitude of curiosity and desire to know more. You will enrich your learning by regular reading of additional books and journals. Internet and E-Library facilities will make it easy for you to find supplementary material for your projects.
Case Studies
In addition to regular lectures, you will learn from case study method, which allows you to deal with problems faced by professionals in your field. You will have an opportunity to look at all the relevant factors, analyze the given matrix and apply problem-solving skills and knowledge in order to find solutions.
Research and Laboratory Work
In most courses, there will be some component of research or laboratory work that will give you hands-on exposure to research and develop appropriate methodology. Techniques that you will learn to apply will give you a competitive advantage when you enter the workplace.

You will be given personal email facilities to enable you to keep in touch with family and friends.
Assessment of Performance
Your performance and progress will be evaluated on the basis of your class participation, attendance, assignments, papers, projects, and examinations. In some subjects, it will be essential to have regular short quizzes to motivate you to keep up with the course. In other subjects, you may have only one major final written examination. Where considered relevant, you could even have individual oral examinations or presentations. The actual form of assessment will vary according to the requirements of each subject.
PROJECT LEARNING
Cooperation with others is the key to professional success.
In most of your classes you will be involved in Project Learning. You will learn how to apply your skills and knowledge. You will generally work with a fellow student or group on small course-related projects.
You are encouraged to visit various business concerns to find out how they deal with day-to-day practical application of theory in the real world.
In scientific and technological subjects you will carry out tests and experiments in laboratories and workshops.

PERSONALACADEMIC COUNSELING
We care about you...
When you enroll at EURO U, you will have a Personal Academic Counselor who will meet regularly with you to review your academic progress. Your Counselor will also be available to assist you with problems that you may have. In certain instances, your Counselor may communicate on your behalf with other members of the faculty or administration.
Minimum Attendance 75%
Minimum 75% Attendance is required for appearing in final examination.
If you do not attend class nor submit an application immediately upon returning to class, you will be charged an unexplained fine.
GRADING POLICY
You will earn grades based upon your level of achievement in course objectives.
A = Superior comprehension and expression
B = Above average knowledge of major and some minor topics
C = Average understanding and skills
D = Below average minimal understanding.
F = Failure to comprehend the course or acquire necessary skills. Course must be repeated.
I = Incomplete course work. If the course requirements are not completed during the following semester/term, the “I” grade becomes “F” and course must be repeated.
Generally there will be no change of grades once they are issued, unless error is demonstrated.
STUDENT APPEAL PROCESS
If you believe that a mistake has been made in calculation of your grade, in the marks given to you by your instructor, or clerical error, you may submit your Application for Review in writing to the Director of Administration, Head of the Department or Dean of the Faculty concerned. You should state your reason for believing that there has been an error.
our Application for Review must be accompanied by Rs. 2000. If it is found that there has been an error in the marking or grade awarded, the grade will be changed and the Rs. 2000 will be returned. If it is found that no error has been made, no change of grade will be issued, and the amount will not be refunded
No Application for Review will be considered after 30 days of publication of the grade.

A = 80% +
B = 70 79%
C = 60 69%
D = 50 59%
F = 49% or below
Bachelor Degrees
A = 70% +
B = 60 69%
C = 50 59%
D = 40 49%
F = 39% or below
