Fashion
Institute of Technology
arranges fashion shows
as part of student’s
final term projects. The
contribution is made by
all the fashion students
either on stage or behind
the stage to make this
event successful.

healthy environment is
not possible without sports.
As proper education develops
mind, in the same way
proper sports activities
develop body, which undoubtedly
is of equal importance.
Along with providing the
sports facilities, students
are taught to distribute
their available time in
studies and sports as
well. We promote different
indoor and outdoor games
by arranging matches with
other colleges and
by
organizing inter college
tournaments. Sports like
Cricket, Football, Badminton,
Table Tennis, Volleyball,
chess etc. are among the
popular sports.

The students had also arranged
a fashion show as a part of
their “Entrepreneurship
Course Project”, which
was one of its kind.

concerts and shows are organized
once or twice in a semester
to provide healthy entertainment.
One important feature of these
shows is the discipline, which
is always maintained throughout
these shows. Students coming
from other cities find these
programmes very helpful in adjusting
to the new environment. |

Industrial
& Recreational Tours |
| Traveling
has always been a source of
learning. We organize industrial
tours for our students as a
part of their off-campus learning.
In these tours, students see
how different production, management
and other techniques are applied
in various organizations. These
tours help students in different
ways, such as that students
get some time to develop some
familiarity with these
organizations and through work
|
|
|
|
processes; through these tours
students also provide their
introduction to the management
of these organizations.
|

|
This
helps students in getting jobs
after completion of their degrees.
Students also go to other cities
for such industrial tours. Along
with the industrial tours students
also go on recreational tours
to different hilly areas and
resorts. Students have a tourism
society which organizes all
these tours. In hot summers
students go to Northern area
such as Kaghan, Naran, Swat
etc. where they do not only
enjoy beautiful weather but
also the scenes of heaven.

also provides transportation
facility for these tours.
These tours are
organized in such a way that
students do not find any problem
throughout these trips. Some
faculty members usually accompany
students in these tours. |

and on students arrange get-together
at college campus and outside.
These get-togethers provide
a chance to students to make
friends and to know more about
each other. They take meals,
sit together, chitchat with
each other and make fun to throw
away the stress and tension
of studies.

also participate by singing,
playing some musical instrument,
telling jokes or reading some
literary piece of work. |

the roof of Hajvery Dramatic
Club young enthusiastic amateurs
endeavor hard to manifest the
creative talent they possess;
different one act, two act and
impressionistic plays have been
staged as a part of their dramatic
activities. “Naatia”
competitions, Serat conferences,
Essay writing competitions and
other healthy contests have
been organized by college students
societies to promote and increase
the innate potential. All these
activities run quite successfully
without stepping off the campus. |

During
student life, competition
is very important. The
students of female campus
participated in the Science
Exhibition at UET where
colleges from all over
Lahore participated as
well. Hajvery clinched
first position in this
exhibition. |

GOER Society |
| Hajvery
Group of Colleges has formed
a CINE GOER Society to provide
movie entertainment to its students.
Latest movies are screened for
the students on weak ends and
holidays. |
