Illustration is a commercial art
form with two different but
overlapping applications. Either
an ability to express an
original design for the benefit
of a design studio for
pre-production, or as an
advertising or journalistic
representation of a completed
outfit which should reflect not
only the garment shapes but the
whole style of the concept.
